Stupefaction

Poor Ginger.  You can see the bewilderment, perplexity and confusion in her furry little face.  She is stupified.  What is this bizarre thing that has her in its grip?! It looks vaguely like a dog but it sure doesn't smell like one!  That's also the expression most humans have when they first get a look at a Furry.  "What the heck is that?!"  You are not alone in your stupefaction, little Ginger.

Hirsute

I  know!  This one was obvious!  What dog isn't hirsute?  Every dog is hairy to some extent.  Except those weird hairless dogs that look like deformed feet with eyes.  But here are two lovely examples of hirsute-ness.

Opal is hirsute in a fur suit.  That dog is just weird looking.  Like a muppet or something.  I don't think she's a real dog.  She's probably some sort of animated plush animal.

Ginger has a lovely head of hair topping her furry body.  It's double hirsute-ness. Not every dog is lucky enough to have long flowing locks.  Even borrowed ones.

Incognito

Betcha can't guess who this is.  She's in disguise because this blog has made her so famous she  can't even go out and pee without the paparazzi positively hounding her.  But it's hard to disguise that pulchritudinous posterior.

Elasticity

We have a guest dog today!  This is Opal, more commonly known as Dopal, because she's not so smart.  But she does have one thing going for her.  Elasssssssticity. This dog is freakishly ssstttrrrretchy. A compact, fuzzy little ball one moment and this lengthy version the next.

Facetiously

If you think too about it too much, life can give you a headache.  There's simply too much.  Too  much wrong.  Too much bad.  Too much of everything. 

Dogs see the world in a much simpler way.  Life is a romp, a walk, a good sniff, dotted with naps and food.  Life is simply not to be taken seriously.   It's amusing, fun, frivolous!  So let's all put on our dog-colored glasses and see the world a bit more facetiously.    That's why dogs don't get headaches.

Langorous

Lannnnnnnguorousssss.  Doesn't just enunciating it make you feel listless and lathargic?  How about limp, sluggish and unenthusiastic?  Languorous is William on a hot afternoon.  Languorous is me after the morning caffeine wears off.  I need to join William for that nap.

Portrait of pulchritude

I adore words that sound like their meaning.  Pulchritude is not one of those words.  It sounds like "pulpy" or "crappy" with attitude.  However, Ginger is showing pulchritude here.  Mounds of it.  Beauty, adorableness, elegance, glamour.  That is Ginger.  From her ruff of creamy fur to her noble profile, she is beauty incarnate.  A dog with true pulchritude.  No pulpy crap in sight.
